Garden of Eden - tickets now on sale!

Red Letter Days’ ‘Garden of Eden’ event, one of the UK's biggest-ever naturist events, in association with British Naturism, will take place on the evening of Saturday, 23 June, 2007 from 7 to 11 p.m, at the Eden Project, Cornwall.

On the evening of the summer solstice, the biggest rainforest in captivity will throw open its doors to 2,500 naturists. Guests will be able to enjoy this unique opportunity to visit the world's different climates, flowers and plants just as nature intended - in the nude. Soak up the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in the Humid Tropics Biome, and the warmth and atmosphere of the orange and lemon trees, olive groves and gnarled vines in the Warm Temperate Biome. Delight in the hemp, sunflowers and other plants that could change your future, flourishing in the 30-acre Roofless Biome under the Cornish sun, or wander around the newly opened Core, a building which reflects the miracles of nature in its stunning structure and works of art. If you haven't visited the Eden Project before, prepare to be amazed and delighted. And if you have, then we're sure that this chance to explore Eden's many wonders au naturel will add an extra dimension to this very special place. How many of us have wandered around the tropical biome and felt very uncomfortable wearing clothes?

NEW! The Eden Project have confirmed that visitors to the Garden of Eden will be given a voucher to allow free (clothed) access on the following day, Sunday 24th June

About Red Letter Days

Created in 1989, Red Letter Days pioneered the concept of giving experiences as unforgettable gifts. Today they offer an unrivalled choice of hundreds of experiences and gifts across the UK and abroad. About the Eden Project

Dubbed the 'Eighth Wonder of the World', The Eden Project nestles inside a crater the size of 30 football pitches, is an astonishing collection of over a million plants from all over the world. The tropical Biomes of Eden allow visitors the opportunity to experience the world’s climates and gardens, and offers a fascinating insight into the story of mankind's dependence on plant life and the relationships between plants and people.

In addition to the plants, art is central to Eden, and the site is liberally peppered with fascinating, thought-provoking works and installations. The Eden Project is all about mankind's relationship with nature and its dependence upon plants. Much of our food, our clothes, our shelter and our medicines come from the plant world, and without them there would be no oxygen for us to breathe and no life on earth. Eden works hard to help us recognise this, and the installations work to support the two gigantic Biomes - the biggest conservatories in the world.

Nudefest 2007

British Naturism is planning a whole weekend of events close to the Eden Project, with accommodation arrangements to make it easy for as many people as possible to be in the area at the time. Plans include parties, music, sports and other activities and a day on the beach. Nothing has been confirmed as yet, but we will keep you posted through the magazine, website and e-zine. It’s not yet live, but make a note of this website address - www.nudefest2007.com - where information will start to appear before long.
