British Naturism - Beaches

Sillery Sands

Mostly shingle, but good sand at low tide. We have today (29.10.2008) been advised that the steps have now been repaired

Safe bathing at all states of the tide. (Children should stick to the sand at low tide.) Do not attempt to walk the foreshore from Lynmouth. Instead, park one third of the way up Countisbury Hill, and use the well maintained - though quite steep - footpath to the beach. The beach is 1 kilometer long, and naturists tend to use the far end. However the beach is not overlooked and is very secluded, so there is an excellent degree of tolerance from any textile users.
